What is Root Canal Treatment (RCT)? – Chirayu dentcare

Root Canal Treatment is a procedure that involves removing the infected or damaged pulp from the inside of a tooth. After removing, cleaning and disinfecting the root canal is done, and then filling and sealing the canal. This treatment is necessary when a tooth is infected or severely decayed, causing pain, swelling, and sensitivity.

During the procedure, you will receive local anesthesia to numb the affected area, ensuring that you feel comfortable throughout the treatment.

Firstly, our dental team will remove the damaged or infected pulp. After that they clean and shape the root canal, and then fill and seal the canal with a special material. After the RCT, we may recommend a dental crown to protect the tooth and restore its function.
